Christmas & New Year Delivery Information
Please accept our apologies for any weather-related delivery delays you may have experienced over the last few weeks.
Our warehouse will be open between now and the New Year and we will continue to send out orders, so you should expect to receive your order within just a few days.
I placed my order before 10am Thursday 16th December, will I get it before Christmas?
If you have placed an order with us and we have confirmed the items are in stock, then we are currently on schedule to get you your goods before Christmas. Our couriers, however, have informed us that due to the huge backlog in their networks following the extreme weather conditions in December they can no longer guarantee that any parcels over 2kg in weight will be delivered pre Christmas to certain areas. This affects all addresses in Scotland and some addresses in the North East (Postcodes beginning with DH, DL0-5, DL9-99, NE, SR, TS) and Yorkshire, Humber & Lincolnshire (Postcodes beginning with HG, HU, YO, DL6-8, DN8, DN14). Deliveries to all other areas are taking longer but will be delivered by early next week.
Can I order for next day delivery?
We apologise as we have had to suspend our next day service as none of our couriers or Royal Mail are able to offer a guaranteed next day service any longer.
You’ve despatched my order, when will it arrive?
Unfortunately none of the typical delivery service times are being adhered to. Royal Mail first class is currently taking between 7 to 14 days to be delivered, with orders from the first week in December being especially delayed. Royal Mail are doing all they can to clear the backlog this weekend. Hermes as been equally hit and deliveries are taking between 7 and 10 days. If your tracking report says that the parcel is “out for delivery” please allow up to 7 days for the parcel to arrive as many parcels are being carried over several days before actually landing at a customer’s front door.
My order will arrive too late and I don’t need it any more. What should I do?
We fully appreciate that if you bought items as gifts you may have had to buy replacements and that you no longer need your order. If we haven’t despatched it, we can cancel it over the phone or via email. If it has been despatched, the simplest thing is to refuse delivery. The parcel will be returned and we will refund you. Please allow 28 days for the return to be processed and for your refund to be sent.
