Both myself and my husband have been using this shampoo bar. I understand what a previous reviewer said about sticky hair after using it because it really does feel that way. The soap lathers up nicely but when rinsed out definitely leaves my hair, (and that of my husband), feeling sticky. However, I've found that if I then use the Alter/Native conditioner bar or a vinegar rinse then the sticky feeling completely vanishes. My hair feels, and looks, good after use. My husband doesn't bother with either conditioner or vinegar rinse but he has short, quite wiry, hair and he thinks that it feels really nice when dry and says it's in really good condition after weeks of use. So...it's a bit of a hard one to review. I read somewhere that some shampoo bars don't work well with hard water, (which we have), as they react and leave a greyish sticky residue which could be what we're experiencing but I definitely find that the vinegar rinse or conditioner bar works wonders for getting rid of that feeling and my hair, (naturally tends to be a bit greasy at the roots), looks great and isn't greasy or sticky in the slightest once dry. rnrnPerhaps give it a try and see what you think? At worst it could always be used as a hand soap if you don't get on with it :)

This is the first shampoo bar I have tried and have only used it 3 times but so far I am really liking it. My hair looks and feels thicker. It isn’t as soft and smooth like it is when using my regular shampoo and kind of reminds me what my hair felt like when using mousse. I have really straight fine hair.

Absolutely awful - would give it 0 stars if I could. As soon as I rinsed it my hair felt horrid to touch, stringy and sticky, then after drying was so greasy with thick residue it still looked wet! It has taken two further shampoos (with a different product!) to get rid of the horrible stickiness at my scalp. Just terrible.
