I love these lentils. They stay meaty and whole when cooked and make a great meat substitute in bolognaise, chille, moussaka etc. I just chuck them into stews and soups. These have the added bonus of all the Suma ethical credentials.

Q: Does this product require soaking before cooking and if so, for how long? Also, what is the cooking time please?

A: These Dark Speckled Lentils from Suma don't require any soaking beforehand. Simply rinse them well and boil them in unsalted water for 20-30 minutes or until tender. I hope this helps, Robyn.
