lovely lentils, poor packaging

Lovely big flat green lentils, go great in soups and dahls. They absorb flavours well and are easy to cook. The only let down is the packaging which is brittle and splits easily. Also doesn't have any cooking instructions on it, which I think would be helpful. But I'll still buy them again.

Q: Does this product require soaking before cooking and if so, for how long? Also, what is the cooking time please?rn

A: These Green Lentils from Suma don't require any soaking beforehand. Simply rinse them well and boil them in unsalted water for 20-30 minutes or until tender. I hope this helps, Robyn.
