Ecozone Refillable Room Damp, Mould & Moisture Trap

These are excellent and do the job efficiently. I live in a Victorian apartment near the sea, so with central heating and negligible insulation, condensation and odour can be a problem, but since using these in every room actually, this has disappeared! rnrnI notice that a review from 2013 complained about the blue colour - which I don't like either, but that is so easily remedied by simply painting the container in the colour of your choice. Enamel paint suitable for toys would do the job and I intend to resurface mine in copper and Silver. rnrnWaiting for refills to come back into stock, but I for one who has had definite condendation issues, would very highly recommend.

Wish it wasn't made of plastic but other reviews calling it single use are not strictly correct as you can buy refills and with care it should last for a long time even though it is quite flimsy. My landlord installed the "latest technology" in my bathroom and mildew was still growing on the walls. Since I started using this it has not come back! I am ordering another one for the bedroom.

We have a lot of condensation in all our rooms during the winter. This absorbes quite a lot of water in my daughter's bedroom, it did take a few days to get started but now collects a fair amount. Doesn't clear the windows entirely but it would be worse if it wasn't there. I am disappointed to learn that it is made of single use plastic. This item could be made to be far more attractive, a ceramic version maybe? This is the only reason I am refraining from buying more for other rooms.

This doesn't work at all. It's been in my closets for months in the bathroom and bedrooms and there's no water collected. The other brand of dehumidifier would have been full of water by now.

I would give this less than one star if I could. Not sure what makes something constructed of single use plastic eco anything, so the concept itself is poor. But on top of that, it was also poorly made - broken on arrival, and not surprising, given how flimsy it was. Went straight into the bin. Never again.

Does not seem to be working at all, despite being in our bathroom which has no external window. The plastic top cracked when I attempted to put it together too.

This arrived broken, but I didn't bother to get a replacement because it was poorly made and flimsy. I am annoyed that I tried to purchase an ethical product and instead ended up dumping more plastic on the planet. I do not recommend it.

Used in a small cabin - collects loads of water so definitely works! Very easy to put together.

Really good product, personally I like the colour and it fits neatly on my bathroom windowsill. I was surprised that the product was quite large, be warned! It certainly works well, I empty water from it most days and I like the fact that it's refillable, unlike some of the more basic ones you can buy on the high street

Works very well at keeping my doorway, passage and upstairs dry! I reccomend ti anyone even if you have no mould or dam in te house as they keep a good level of humidity. Also good when I have the tumble in as it gets quite hard to breathe

Having used this product for about a year in both a very mouldy kitchen and bathroom corners I can say it has worked fantastically. Without a doubt there has been considerably less mould developing in these two particularly bad spots this winter then the winter before when we did not have them. Its not a cure, as there is still a small amount of mould, but it has cut the amount and severity by at least 80%. Very, very pleased and continue to purchase the refill packs.

I have set them up which as not difficult. I have not really had enough time to know how effective they will be/are. Definitely look forward to having drier areas of the room.

I use this in my damp basement flat and positioned in the right places (where the damp is taking effect) it really does help in a very inobtrusive manner.
I can't claim that just one will do all the work alone, but they make a huge difference.

Bought it for the house and it's working really well - good for money!

A little bit larger than I anticipated although the measurements are clearly stated ;) This does a good job of absorbing moisture, we used a couple in an old house which had some damp problems when we moved in and it's taking out quite a bit of moisture already. Refills mean it's a cost effective option without using electricity for a plug-in dehumidifier.

We live in an old Victorian terrace with condensation mould growing in most rooms. When I spotted this I thought I would give it a go and was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency. I found it a little tricky to assemble as I thought the plastic might snap but it seems pretty robust. Will definitely be investing in more for other rooms. As with previous comments, a colour option would be good as it is very in your face.

Excellent value, placed this in a bedroom that doesn't get a lot of light or air round it so gets a bit of condensation. Refillable to so very impressed.

I was a little sceptical so just purchased one to see how well it worked - within about 2 weeks a good inch of water had accumulated and I no longer have puddles on my bedroom windowsill - result! Will be purchasing more for other rooms. The only downside to this product is the conspicuous vibrant blue colour - stands out like a sore thumb in a neutrally decorated room!
