have tried some other eco brands of dental floss that are weak and snap easily. whilst this is softer and will break under a lot of force, it works well and gets the yucky bits out from teeth. have bought the refills so won't need to but the glass again. the lid lifts off easily enough to put the refill in. will buy again, when the time comes that i need more.

After reading reviews on various environmentally-friendly dental floss here and elsewhere nd with some trepidation I took the plunge with this one. I am glad I did. I've nearly finished the first roll and it has never snapped on me yet apart from the time I tried to snap it to see how much force needed. It took a lot tho I admit I've never had strong wrists. It's very slightly softer than regular floss so it doesn't feel as tho it cuts when it reaches the gum. This makes it look as though its removing more plaque than it actually is; but once used to that I've been pleased with it and am back on site to order re fills

Strong, and plastic free.

Before using this product, I was using dental tape to get into the tight spaces between my teeth. I have not found a problem with this floss in getting into the tight spots. Yes, there is some fray when using but that is easily remedied by using a different section of floss for each tooth (like the hygienist has told me to do for years).

This is the second or third time I have oredered this product. Although it has a tendancy to fray a bit, I can deal with that. It does the job and is much better for the environment than the plastic ones.

Far too weak. Breaks so easily that it's unusable.
