I usually use the dates in cakes (Date and walnut loaf .. and others) However, my son and daughter also view them as snack food when they fancy something sweet!

Being gluten and dairy free I often substitute cooking and baking recipes items with dates. Pitted dates are delicious and so easy to eat and use in recipes.

A very good find and buy.
Sweet and firm - Deglet variety I'd say - no glucose syrup added, my choice to side the tea, or an Americano.
Pair it with some nuts and you have the perfect afternoon snack.
Store them in a cool place, though, even before opening the pack - without preservatives they don't take very well the warmth/sun.

A: Hi, no these dates have not been rehydrated, they are pitted by hand, washed in drinking quality water and air dried at 45 degrees c. I hope this helps. Robyn.
