Fair Trade - BAFTS

The British Association of Fair Trade Shops is a network of independent fair trade shops across the UK.

Promoting fair trade retailing in the UK, BAFTS seeks to raise the profile of fair trade on the High Street and provide a point of contact and communication for the exchange of ideas amongst their members.

In order to gain accreditation, suppliers must meet BAFTS' stringent criteria, including ensuring that work is guided by principles of mutual respect, social justice and equal partnership; being committed to Fair Trade principles; paying fair prices to producers and showing respect for traditional crafts.
