DAME Period Cup

The reusable period cup from DAME is made from soft and flexible medical grade TPE that is not only comfortable to use but also self-sanitising thanks to the added natural, biocide-free Saniconcentrates™. There’s no need for boiling or sanitising between wears, simply rinse, wipe, and reuse.

The DAME Period Cup is powered by natural, biocide-free Saniconcentrates™, meaning that the cup is resistant to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses (tested to ISO 22196). Saniconcentrate™ contains a biocompatible element that works against bacteria attachment and proliferation, helping the cup to stay clean without the need for sterilisation or boiling. The Saniconcentrates™ are integral to the material, so they will not rub off or degrade over time.

The purchase of this period cup helps DAME support the charities Rethink Periods and WEN's Environmenstrual Ambassador programme to help young people learn about alternative products earlier, form sustainable habits, and make use of the free products available to them whilst at school.

Free from chlorine, dioxin bleach, latex, phthalates, GMOs, and perfumes. Suitable for vegans.

Size M - 43mm diameter and 67mm length, and generally works best for those under 30 who haven't given birth vaginally. Capacity 25ml.
Size L - 46mm diameter and 67mm length, and generally works best for those over 30 or who have given birth vaginally. Once inserted your cup should feel comfortable. Capacity 30ml.

DAME was founded in November 2016 by Alec and Celia who became compelled to make a change after realising they were drowning in a sea of plastic period products, from the applicators to the wrappers to the absorbent part of the tampon themselves! Their mission is to make periods positive and provide sustainable products that cause as little harm to our environment as possible when made, used and finished with. A certified B corporation, DAME has created the first ever reusable tampon applicator helped by a successful Kickstarter campaign and has since created a range of 100% organic cotton tampons and reusable pads all to help achieve their goal of stopping people from using disposable, non-recyclable period products.
