This makes perfect hummus, lovely taste, and creamy.
The only tahini I have bought for several years. Great for humour, dressings & even in smoothies for added plant protein. Sometimes needs a stir when first opened but prefer that to palm oil or other additives.

I use this for making humous. Good stuff and good for me. I also use it as a spread on toast and bread - better for me than butter.

Excellent, rich, natural, dark tahini!

A good quality spread with a richer flavour than the light one. Great on toast, and gives a boost to the flavour of sauces.

Lovely dark tahini, you can taste the texture and it is not oily at all!

Ooooh, I love this stuff! My husband usually buys tahini in town, and can't always get this dark variety, but it's so much richer and tastier than the light tahini. If you like strong flavours (70-85% chocolate, stilton cheese etc), you'll probably like this. The light stuff's for wimps! It's lovely in hummus or mixed with a bit of honey/ vegan equivalent, raisins and orange juice for a spread on toast or crackers.

Clearly, Meridian succeed in separating the dark seeds from the light.
I just eat this stuff by itself.

Q: Please could you tell me the source (country of origin) of the sesame seeds used and the type. Thank you.
A: Hi
Please see the response below from the manufacturer Meridian..
"We source our dark sesame seeds from countries across South America (Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil) but also occasionally from Pakistan dependant on the harvesting season."
I do hope this helps.
Kind Regards
