Ecover Ecological Washing Tablets (32) Reviews

I have been using Ecover for all my laundry for 7 years now, after developing a rash from both Ariel and Persil. Since then, I've come to love the fact that my laundry smells fresh and clean and doesn't stink of synthetic perfumes. These tablets can easily compete with any leading non-ecofriendly brand in terms of effectiveness! It can also be tricky to find ecofriendly laundry detergents which contain enzymes, and let's face it, a non-bio just won't do when it comes to protein stains. This is excellent at removing stains; red wine, blood, grease, fruit, biro, grass, chocolate. Originally I was using the bio powder, but found it was rarely stocked with retailers. Nowadays, family life means these tablets take the guess work out of loading up the machine and measuring the detergent. I buy it by the case load to make sure I never miss a good weather opportunity to have a laundry day!

I changed to this brand as my partner developed sensitivity to Persil after using it for years (and a good excuse to get him into environmentally friendly products too!). Since using Ecover products his skin has not had any itchiness, or eczma-type symptoms. Plus it works fine on his oily car mechanic's boiler suits! And only seem to need one tablet per wash which is less than normal 'big brand' product, so works out as good value for money.

I found these washing tablets better than the old washing powder/liquid/tablets that I had used.
Working in a butchery cutting room, and in charge of making sausages, I get my white coat and trousers very mucky, I have had trouble with getting the stains off, unless use a bleach and soak(which can damage the clothing with constant use). If stubburn stain on then use the ecover solution with a handy brush and wash with the tablets.
The best bit no silly bag to put tablets in and the bag the tablets are stored in and the box are recyclable.
