About Tropical Wholefoods
Tropical Wholefoods is based in a Soil Association certified factory in Sunderland, UK, and produces great tasting snacks and foods and natural soaps. It is a member of IFAT and works with a number of Fair Trade organisations to improve the well being and livelihoods of disadvantaged people in developing countries.
As well as working and trading with its partners, Tropical Wholefoods provides training and information to them; it currently operates programmes in quality assurance, solar drying technology and organic farming techniques.
The fruit which goes to make up the ‘dried fruit’ range is harvested when fully ripe and sun dried immediately, ensuring that they are 100% pure fruit, free from all preservatives, and bursting with flavour!
