Fair Trade Ingredients
Ingredients: Honey Oats [oats, vegetable oil, honey], *Vine fruits [32.5%]: [raisins, sultanas, non-hydrogenated vegetable oil], Malted wheat flakes: [wheat, malt, (from barley)], **Chopped apricots [7.2%: [apricots, rice flour, preservative: sulphar dioxide], Cranberries [1.4%]: [cranberry (0.8%), sugar, sunflower oil], Pumpkin seeds.

The sultanas and raisins come from the Orange River region of South Africa. The area is isolated and dry, as it is near the Kalahari Desert. Many crops are unprofitable, but farmers can get a decent income from growing grapes and drying them.
SAD Vine Fruit (PTY) Ltd is helping these farmers to overcome their problems and market their products. Traidcraft's sales of raisins and sultanas mean one group of farmers has the chance of a better future.
Dried Fruit Project in the Karakorum Mountains of Pakistan supplies our dried apricots. Improved techniques mean that farmers now earn 50% more for their apricots.
