The very first ball point pen was patented back in 1888. Unfortunately that first one wasn’t all that great – it could write on leather but it wasn’t delicate enough for paper, so not much use in the modern school or office!
Fast forward 120 years, and the clever folk at Remarkable have come up with a cracking design, which not only writes on paper, but most importantly is made from recycled materials. We think this is a great idea when you think about how many ball point pens the average person could get through in a year.
This tub of 20 black ball point pens have a medium point and function with a twist action. They could have started life as anything from a games console, to old car or electrical parts. So start doodling with a clear conscience, as these pens are doing their bit for the nation’s recycling effort.
