The multifunctional Powerplus Gazelle generates power when you cycle on it, meaning you now have power wherever you go. During cycling you charge up the power bank so you are not only charging, but exercising too.
The Gazelle can be used to charge and power a multitude of devices and includes a 12V internal battery through which you can select an output of 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 9V and 12V meaning you can always match your device for optimum charge. There is also the possibility of using an AC inverter to give you 230V power at up to 100 Watts.
Effectively this means that you could power anything from your mobile phone, iPod, PDA, right up to devices such as TV’s, laptops and hi-fi’s

Q: 1). Does it have an inbuilt "standard" 3-pin socket (eg to power a 7W inspection lamp with a standard plug)?
2). Is there an indicator of how charged up it is?
3). Does it have a car-type "cigarette lighter" socket?
4). To use to charge mobile phones, what else would I need to purchase?
A: The Gazelle does indeed have a 3-pin socket and comes complete with a European socket adaptor; therefore you can charge your phone up via AC power. There is a charging indicator too; however, there is no cigarette lighter charger.
