Q: Is there an AAA set available, and if so will you be stocking it in the near future?
A: I'm afraid there isn't a AAA set - as the width of the USB socket is greater than the diameter of a AAA battery, sorry.

Q: Do the batteries really save energy? Given that you probably have to charge them up a lot, does that not use more energy than just buying regular batteries every so often?
A: With over 15 billion Alkaline batteries produced and thrown away every year, USB Cell offers an eco-friendly alternative. Most batteries end up in landfill, wasting resources and producing CO2 whereas USB Cells can be reused about 500 times before they lose their capacity. They can also be recycled, as can their packaging. So, although you do still need to charge them up which uses power, the impact they have on the environment is much less than regular batteries. An added bonus is that most of our solar chargers come with a female USB port which means that you could effectively charge these batteries by using no electricity at all.
I hope this helps and answers your question fully.
