Hug Rug was formed in response to the ever increasing demand for environmentally friendly and sustainable products that at the same time provide style, quality and value. With a wide range of eco friendly mats Hug Rug have a style to fit any home, choose from – the amazing dirt trapping barrier mats and beautifully soft and silky bamboo bathroom mats in a range of modern, stylish and eco-friendly designs.


From the outset the Hug Rug has been created and developed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. From the sourcing of raw materials, the development of entirely new manufacturing processes, using cleaner/greener sources of electricity made by hydro pumps, windmill farms and solar, through to its eventual disposal and recycling – everything has been considered to ensure Hug Rug has a light environmental footprint, and products can even be washed at 30°C. Manufactured in the UK at a plant approved by the Carbon Trust and keeps carbon mileage to a minimum.
