These are quite hard to find which is a shame because they are a very interesting treat. I'm personally 50/50 on them but my mother adores these tins. The texture is, well, very nutty obviously in that it is thick and 'grainy' since they've been crushed. It's basically a big chunk of crushed nuts and you slice or scoop it as desired. I use it in cooking as a tofu alternative but it can be seasoned and eaten raw too, it's quite versatile. For me, it's a bit too salty for when I fry it I don't notice that so much.
