About the Producers: José Urley Flórez featuring on the cover of these tubs of coffee is just one of 1,100 farmers who are part of a fairtrade cooperative in Colombia. José has spent a lifetime growing coffee, but only recently has he been able to farm his own pigs, hens and cows, a program developed by the cooperative he is a part of. The economic conditions for farmers has improved over a short amount of time that people like José now have basic food and fertilizer, so they may continue to grow coffee free from chemicals.
