According to the manufacturer, up to 70% of the heat from the back of a radiator heats the wall behind it, therefore only 30% of the heat you are paying for actually warms the room. Each panel is 600mm high x 530mm length x 8mm width. Generally each standard sized radiator will need two panels.

I found that you do need two people to put them in as you don't want them to stick to the wall immediately and therefore need two hands to slide them down and another person to use a stick to keep it away from the wall until you do want it to stick. Big tip is to make sure that your walls are clean before installing so they stay stuck.
Simple and seemingly effective.

Q: How much more effective are the panels than simply taping aluminium foil to the wall behind the radiator?
A: Unfortunately we are not aware of any such test being carried out with foil, however, the radiator panels are shaped so that air is forced to rise upwards, not just convected. As such, hot air rises above the radiator level and circulates better around the room - ensuring less heat is wasted warming exterior walls.
