The new EnviR energy monitor from Current Cost is a neat solution to saving on household energy bills. This small, easy to use device shows up-to-the-minute display of your electricity usage in your home or workplace, which helps you find out where you are wasting energy and gives you the opportunity to see which appliances are the biggest energy users (IAM plug required).
The display unit provides real-time information on electricity use in kWh and cost in pence with programmable tariffs help to display realistic costs. The real time information is also compared against a memory for the previous day/week/month and the handy display also includes a clock, thermometer and a bar chart which shows you what proportion of your energy use has been expended during the previous day, evening and night.
The EnviR stores up to a year's worth of data in its own internal memory which can be downloaded on to your PC so you can easily analyse your energy consumption and even compare it against other households using the Current Cost web portal.
