Georganics Natural Tooth Soap - English Peppermint - 60ml

As other reviewers have mentioned, you can taste the oils used to make it a soap, and they leave an aftertaste. A lovely idea though - if it tasted nicer it would last forever! We use toothpaste tablets now and much prefer them.

Georganics Natural Toothsoap English Peppermint foams up really nicely. Do not use too much as it is a little abrasive. Although my first taste of made me think "soap!", the peppermint taste helps you overcome that in a couple of days. I have been using it for a year - it's very economical because it lasts a eally long time for the price you pay. I have cut mine up into two chunks and apply the water to the chunk. This is so that the cardboard doesn't get foamy!

Reminds me of my dads old shaving stick.rnGreat fun and easy to use, Lathers up without needing too much water. Slightly funky, but not unpleasant taste. Once sufficient quantity is on the toothbrush it brushes well onto teeth and leaves a long lasting clean taste.rnObviously different to other brands of toothpaste readily available in most shops but I like it.rn I would advise caution if children use it purely because the tube is made of card and needs to be kept dry.rnWorth giving this a go.

You can tell it’s soap... Foams well & tastes ok during brushing, but the after-taste is fairly soapy, which is horrible :(

If you can get used to the soap taste, it seems a good product and feels much more natural than most toothpastes. It must be very environmentally friendly, both the product itself and the packaging.rnHowever the base doesn’t push up so I don’t know how I will be able to get the product onto the bristles of my toothbrush. I guess cut the top of the tube off every now and then. I would give it 4 stars if it did push up, and 5 stars if the flavour was more refreshing.

had to get used to slightly strange taste and texture but all good - will wait for my dentist's verdict!

This product tastes ok and foams but my teeth didn't feel clean enough after several days use.

Brilliant idea and works really well. Will last ages, the taste takes a little getting used to-its a little soda-ry, but it lathers up well and leaves the teeth feeling really clean. Love the cardboard packaging, but I don't keep it next to the sink in case it gets damp. I have had to train myself not to brush too hard though as the consistency is very different from paste, and if a family are using them you need one each for hygiene purposes, but personally I think this product is brilliant.
