Quite expensive but bought for my keen gardener mum as a quirky bday present. She is on her second crop from same box. And sent us daily pics of growth.

An amazing product. It's very easy to do and take care of and it's fun to watch the speed that these mushrooms grow - very satisfying :)

Absolutely amazing kit! It is a lesson in itself watching the mushrooms grow - fun and educational for everyone, regardless of age. Bought as a present for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. We watched the mushrooms grow from tiny alien-like sprouts into huge fleshy mushrooms. And savoured a delicious risotto after harvesting. Once they start growing you can see the growth change day to day... it's really exciting! Would recommend to all. And you end up with great compost for the garden as well... bonus!

Q: After you harvest the mushrooms do more grow and if so how long will this process continue?
A: You should get your first harvest within 2 weeks. Typically you should expect two good sized harvests, then up to 4 in total, although the 3rd and 4th are less reliable, take longer and have less fruit as there are fewer nutrients left in the coffee.
After the first harvest, leave the Kitchen Garden to rest for 10 days then start again by soaking the growbag in water etc – although before you give it the soak, check for mini mushrooms that may be growing ‘unprompted’! It should then take up to 2 weeks for the next harvest.
I hope that helps,
Rachel
