Alternative by Suma Conditioner Bar - Coconut & Argan Oil - 90g

Have curly hair, this is the only conditioner bar that works for my dry hair. Use it as leave in.

This is really good for my hair. Can be a little heavy and difficult to wash out in hard water, but that's better than the dry, fly away hair I have without it!

I've used this twice now after switching from super-expensive Lush bars and both times my hair has been left with a waxy residue which looks greasy and is horrible to touch. Can somebody tell me, am I doing this wrong? I'm looking at throwing away the bar after only two uses which doesn't seem very eco-friendly, but I can't keep going to work looking like I've not washed at all.

This doesn’t really lather a lot but even so it conditions and softens my thick curly hair really nicely.

Unfortunately this conditioner made my hair feel a bit heavy and dull - but it's okay if you use it only on the ends of your hair. It's also easy to apply to the hair, and helps with detangling it.

I use a bar that both shampoos and conditions but sometimes my curly hair feels like it needs a bit of extra looking after. Therefore, every other wash or so I use this bar on the ends and mid lengths of my hair in order to leave my hair feeling soft and easy to detangle. I love the smell and find it quite easy to use - I usually just wrap my wet hair around it and massage it for a few moments for a real conditioning boost. Love it! :)

Doesn't lather enough for me. I find it difficult to actually transfer enough onto my hair to feel the benefit.

Love it!! Super moisturising. Very surprised by this conditioner bar, and by the fact that you just need a tiny bit for great results.

I tried this product as it was a much cheaper price point that other conditioner bars in the market. However it did not work well for me. I have very dry hair that needs a lot of moisture, therefore the coconut oil in this had the counter affect if leaving my scalp incredibly greasy and itchy whilst preventing moisture absorption in my hair shaft, leaving the ends dry and brittle. If you have ever used silicone based hair products, this is probably a scenario you are familiar with. I would say if you have dry or coarse hair, try another product. However it may well work for other hair types. I still gave three stars for value for money and also the scent is absolutely delicious - the best smelling bar I have tried so far.

I have fine, curly hair (2c&3b mix) and have always struggled to find products which leave my hair soft, shiny and defined. This bar is perfect for me - no grease or build-up, helps stop my scalp from getting itchy and my wash lasts longer. I‘ve also been using the bar for over a month now and have more than half left, so really good value for money compared to other similar products... and no plastic! Have found my hair gets used to products over time so really hope it doesn’t happen with this one!!!

Smells great and was very smoothing on my hair but unfortunately, even after rinsing for quite some time, this conditioner made my hair incredibly greasy once dried.
