Bird Feeder Cup - Orange
This wild bird feeder is an eye-catching orange steel cup with an attached ground spike that can be placed in lawns, planters, pots or flower borders. The ground spike is dark green and comes in three sections that fit together easily. Simply place the bird food of your choice in the powder-coated mild steel dish and watch the birds flock to your garden. The types of birds attracted to your garden will depend on the types of food on offer but the cup is suitable for all kinds of bird food such as wild bird mix, peanuts, sunflower hearts, live and dried mealworms or kitchen scraps.

A great way to offer food to little birds. We have filled the four items bought with a seed mix, a fat ball and peanuts. The cups have small holes on the underside to keep the food fresh and this does seem to make a difference. ***, sparrows, blue, great and coal tits are coming to eat. I don't know if it is the food we have put in the cups or their size that is deterring bigger birds such as blackbirds and thrushes, although starlings are happy enough to feast. I am not so sure about the overall construction of the product though. The long rod is made of three parts which screw together and the cup comes screwed onto the top part. However, the whole construction does not feel very secure. The threading between the parts is quite short. The individual parts become looser and need tightening as birds use the cups (it may have something to do with the starlings!). All in all a great idea for a bird feeder, but I am wondering whether the quality of the product could not be improved.
