Completely plastic free these corn starch dental floss refills from Wild & Stone are a great eco-friendly alternative to traditional floss. Made from a corn starch bioplastic that can be composted, this floss is coated in vegan friendly natural candelilla wax and uses natural mint flavouring to give you extra fresh breath.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Free from silk, beeswax, BPA, phthalates, plastic and triclosan.

Non-plastic floss is a tricky beast. I've learned to pay attention to when it may be fraying, so that I can move to a new part of the floss before it breaks. It takes practise but its great to be able to trim the floss into the compost and know I'm not adding to plastics in the ground/ocean. This one of the best non-plastic flosses I've used. It rarely breaks now. It is quite thick, which is something I once couldn't work with but seem to be able to use now. 4 stars out of 5 for non-plastic floss (not floss in general).

Wish I hadn't bought these before trying the non-refill product. Now we have three rolls. Won't purchase this brand again as the string is too thick, doesn't slide well AND breaks too easily.
