The certified organic whey protein is gluten free and contains no soy or GM ingredients, it is pure whey protein and that’s why it’s so much better for you than regular supplements. It is low fat and vegetarian friendly, as well as being packaged and a pouch made from FSC certified paper and aluminium foil to keep the whey protein fresh, while the scoop is made with BPA free recycled plastic milk bottles.
For every pack produced, 25p is given to Compassion In World Farming to help improve the welfare of cows and other farm animals in the UK and around the world, and a tree is planted to help offset the emissions of production.

Q: Hi! rnPlease can you tell me whether this whey protein is bioactive?rnrnthanks, rnregards,rnLiz
A: Hi there, Please see the response from the manufacturer below: 'It contains the naturally occurring immunoglobulins present in the whey, which is what the term “bioactive” refers to. However it’s very difficult to get any kind of meaningful measure from a lab, as it wouldn’t be shown as x mg per 100g or x% of the whey protein. At least not from any lab we’ve spoken with. But at the end of the day these are present in all whey proteins and as it’s a whey protein it will contain these. The term bioactive is just a term created by a brand of whey protein in the USA to describe what is essentially in all whey protein powders.' I hope this helps.
About The Organic Protein Company
The Organic Protein Company was launched in 2014 after two years of hard work and perseverance from Dan, the founder of the company. He saw there was a gap in the market for Organic Whey Protein after never being able to find it himself, inspiring him to do something about it – there should always be an organic alternative. At first the protein was shipped from the USA, but it is now sourced from North Germany, reducing the carbon emissions from transport.
As a company committed to protecting the environment, The Organic Protein Company plants one tree for every pack of organic whey protein and is looking for an opportunity to produce right here in the UK. The brand uses a minimum amount of packaging in the form of a stand up pouch made from recycled, FSC certified paper with a thin aluminium coating for freshness, while the scoops are made in the UK from recycled plastic milk bottles.
