Product Description
Made to soothe sore and tired muscles after hard work or play. This soft balm has a fresh aroma and ideal for massage with its low level of beeswax. Thyme, English yarrow and clary sage oils are added to a base of 20% English hemp oil along with exotic frankincense and cedarwood. The deep blue yarrow oil combines with green avocado and hemp oils and golden rapeseed oil to produce a rub with a deep green appearance.
Filberts has grown from three generations of British farmers whose proximity to nature runs through the heart of why the business started in 2008. Handmade in batches from 100 to 1000 units in their production premises in Dorset, their products offer an alternative to the trend for branded goods made by outsourced contractors. They make from scratch, starting by gently heating and filtering blocks of beeswax as they come in from the field. With regular inspection by Environmental Health and Trading Standards. Quality control includes full traceability of ingredients and approved product safety testing. They follow laid-down procedures with almost zero waste.

I found this difficult to apply in sufficient quantities to obtain any benefit from it. The smell isn’t too obtrusive. It does feel quite greasy too.
