Product Description
A not too hot-not too sweet fair trade jam made with peach and ginger, just the thing to brighten up your breakfast. It’s delicious spread over hot buttered toast or mixed with fresh cream on top of a scone for afternoon tea. Ginger has been found effective in multiple studies for treating nausea caused by seasickness, morning sickness and chemotherapy.

About Eswatini Kitchen

Through traditionally producing and fairly trading natural gourmet food, Eswatini Kitchen is enhancing the lives of underprivileged communities in Swaziland. They are committed to provide a fair and sustainable income for their staff, local farmers and beekeepers as well as other marginalized communities, and to promote opportunities for sustainable development for their country.
Partnering with: Manzini Youth Care (MYC)
For more than 30 years MYC has provided holistic Christian care in meeting the basic needs of food, shelter, training and life skills to marginalized and homeless young people at risk through poverty in Swaziland. Father Larry McDonnell, a Salesian priest, was and still is the leading inspiration behind this project. Today MYC runs six residential homes for over a 140 boys, 5 skills training centres, a free primary education school and an entertainment centre among others. MYC has also created 2 income generating projects that devote their proceeds to the various initiatives: Eswatini Kitchen and Imvelo Eswatini.
Eswatini Kitchen believe that the world can be a better place to live and they contribute by adhering to Fair Trade principles, creating opportunities for economically disadvantaged producers and paying their staff fair wages.
Their Future: Woman Farmer Foundation
The Woman Farmer Foundation mandate is to improve women’s incomes and promoting sustainable livelihoods through agriculture including livestock, dairy, poultry, piggery, vegetables just to mention a few.
The following are a number of sectors which WFF is compounded under: Food Security and Agriculture, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Gender Equality, Private sector development, Food crop production, Agricultural extension and Human Rights.
Eswatini Kitchen are actively working towards improving the lives of underprivileged communities and contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
