Product Description
A plastic free dish brush, with plant-based bristles. The brush head is removable and replaceable.
This brush is fully biodegradable and made from vegan and sustainable materials. A dish brush with plastic bristles can shed hairs that can end up in the ocean, the bristles on this brush are plant-based and 100% biodegradable.
The handle is made from locally grown responsibly sourced beech wood and the natural brush head is made with Tampico fibre bristles. Tampico is a very robust fibre from the yellow leaf of the agave cactus, which grows only in the highlands of northern Mexico. Tampico has great water-retaining properties, is resistant and hard-wearing, and keeps its shape without softening.
Handmade in Germany by a small family company, that has been making brushes for decades.
Please allow the brush to dry completely in between uses.

These dish brushes are great and work really well.
I so wanted to like this, but the bristles were too soft to be effective, and the head too large to get into places my previous plastic brush managed easily. Then when the head needed replacing, I struggled to remove the used head, and the wire fixing was then far too loose to hold the new one in place - I couldn't make it work even with pliers to try and squeeze it tight again, so now its pretty useless. Sorry.
