The Prashansa Candle comes in a lovely clay pot with a varnished rim, presented in a reusable gift box which has been hand painted by skilled artisans in Kashmir. The candle is made with a beeswax blend, and will make a great gift for a loved one or friend.
The candle is made by the Dalit people of India, considered the lowest in society and often are not given the same opportunities and education as those higher in society. The Life Association is a charitable organisation that works with the Dalit people, creating employment opportunities as well as donating profits from the sales of products such as the Prashansa Candle to local projects, as well as using them to support the Life Association’s work with street children in India.
