I always buy these as a Christmas Eve treat - I have the milk and my partner has the dark. The chocolate melts quite well in the milk variety and stirring it regularly makes sure that the chocolate distributes evenly in the hot milk. I drink both cow’s milk and milk alternatives - works better in cow’s milk but for alternative milks find it tastes better using unsweetened oat milk.
