Biofair Organic Fair Trade Black Quinoa originating from Peru / Bolivia / Ecuador makes a tasty base for salads or as an accompaniment to savoury dishes whilst providing a good source of protein and high in fibre. Cooking Instructions - Rinse one part quinoa grain and cook with two parts water. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for approximately 10 minutes. Remove from heat and leave covered until all liquid is absorbed.

This is a really nutty flavoured quinoa. It's more expensive than the white grain and definitely more of an aquired taste, though higher in antioxidants. I tend to use it more sparingly for these reasons and often mix it with white quinoa.
The Biofair brand seems like good quality.
