Product Description
Make your own delicious garlic bread containing herbs like parsley that neutralises the smell and taste of garlic after eating. This flavoured beer bread is the ideal gift for ethically conscious loved ones. It's packaged in bags hand sewn by a South African charity Deaf Hands at Work with locally produced labels made of environmentally friendly paper. All you need to do is add a 330ml brew of your choice to the mix and then bake for the appropriate time (depending on whether you�re baking a large loaf or mini loaves or muffins). If beer isn�t your thing you can also use cider, soft drinks or soda water depending on your preference.
The beer bread mix is packed by the ladies of the Ukama Community Foundation, and the bag is handcrafted, reusable and created by the women of Deaf Hands and Work.
Free from soya, palm oil, GMOs, artificial flavours, artificial colours and artificial preservatives. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Usage Instructions
1. Pre-heat oven to 190˚
2. Pour entire contents of Barrett�s Ridge Garlic & Herb into a bowl.
3. Add 1 x 330 ml beer at room temperature.
4. Stir until the batter is thoroughly mixed through.
5. Scrape batter into a buttered loaf tin.
6. For an extra crispy crust, brush your loaf with melted butter before baking.
7. Bake for approximately 45 minutes.

The mixes come in a calico bag hand sewn by South African charity Deaf Hands at Work with labels from environmentally friendly paper - DHW employs and trains Deaf and disabled individuals to be competent in the following industries: Textile, Construction, Maid services, Carpentry, Painting and Panel beating.
They are also packed by the ladies of the Ukama Community Foundation - Ukama is a social enterprise started with the aim of helping women from previously disadvantaged communities create their own micro-enterprises which then become our supply chain in the various services we offer.
