Summertime is a great time of year to sit down with family, friends and neighbours, and enjoy a picnic. In order to celebrate this most hallowed of British past-times, the folks at The Big Lunch<\/a> are at it again, encouraging us all to get together, enjoy some food and drink, in a nationwide day of picnic celebrations on Sunday 18th July.<\/p>\n

Some of you enjoyed The Big Lunch<\/a> last Summer – the best part of a million people all around the country sat down to munch their lunch together. This year, we’re hoping that the event will be even bigger! Whether you fancy a simple sandwich or a full blown hog roast and disco, this one day get-together is sure to be a blast. It’s a great way to get to know neighbours who you’ve not chatted to before, and get the community spirit going with a swing.<\/p>\n

The Big Lunch Party Pack<\/p><\/div>\n

We’ve teamed up with the lovely folks from Divine Chocolate<\/a> this year to create this truly unmissable Big Lunch Party Pack<\/a> for your very own Big Lunch. It’s jam-packed with chocolatey treats perfect for enjoying on their own, or making into a delicious desert like this Chocolate Fridge Cake<\/a> – recipe courtesy of Divine Chocolate. The selection of goodies comes in its own reusable fair trade jute shopping bag, and don’t forget the special extras – a string of Fairtrade bunting and a giant inflatable Fairtrade banana to provide hours of Fairtrade fun – use it as a hockey stick, inflatable mallet or a tool for a gladiator duel!<\/p>\n
