This annual awareness raising campaign promotes innovative and inspirational vegetarian cooking, and awareness of the benefits of a meat-free diet. Celebrated by the Vegetarian society since 1992, National Vegetarian Week events are held around the country by schools, offices, big corporations and community group. Check the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalvegetarianweek.org\/events_all.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">map<\/a> to see what events are being held near you.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not actually a vegetarian, vegetarian cookery can still tantilise the taste buds. We&#8217;ve selected one of our favourite vegetarian recipes from the National Vegetarian Week website.
