How does one go about reducing something that is difficult to ascertain?<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Well, having read a great <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/life-style\/house-and-home\/property\/donnachadh-mccarthy-national-carbon-footprint-day-932754.html\">article on the Times Online by eco columnist <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/life-style\/house-and-home\/property\/donnachadh-mccarthy-national-carbon-footprint-day-932754.html\">Donnachadh McCarthy<\/a>, I\u2019m pleased to see that we now have a National Carbon Footprint Day. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">So, on October 2<sup>nd<\/sup> every year we will now be prompted to take readings of our<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalcarbonfootprintday.org\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=6&amp;Itemid=9\"> \u2018Eco High 5\u2019s\u2019 <\/a>to calculate your carbon footprint with a view to reducing it year on year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Head on over to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalcarbonfootprintday.org\/\">the official National Carbon Footprint Day website <\/a>to pledge your support and find out more. . .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><em>(Image: <\/em><a title=\"Feet.
