An answer to some of the world&#8217;s biggest recycling mysteries!<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"http:\/\/closetenvironmentalist.com\/2007\/05\/29\/recycling-guide-hardcore-treehugger-style\/\">hardcore recycling guide<\/a> is from <a href=\"http:\/\/closetenvironmentalist.com\/\">Confessions of a Closet Environmentalist<\/a>, a blog all about the attempts of a couple of environmentally minded students who are trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle on a student budget.<\/p>\n<p>The blog&#8217;s author is an environmental engineer in training who has an &#8220;unhealthy obsession with trash&#8221; &#8211; check out her other posts on <a href=\"http:\/\/closetenvironmentalist.com\/tag\/recycling\/\">recycling<\/a> to see what I mean. Lots of useful links in there too, which is nice.<\/p>\n<p>The post comes with a warning and an explanation for the reason that lots of local councils don\u2019t tell you very much about what you can and can&#8217;t recycle. I was in Germany recently where <strong><em>everything<\/em><\/strong> gets recycled and have often wondered why my local recycling service don&#8217;t take away my plastic bottles.
