We have received a recall notice from Suma with regards to their Organic Prunes. This is due to some packs going mouldy well before their best before date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suma Organic Prunes – 500g with a best before date of 15\/04\/23, Batch – CP615, Product code – 36403<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(If you also have any stock left of the two previous batches, CP601 & CP604<\/strong>, best before January 2023, then we would advise you to check this stock also.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suma have advised the following – \u2018You will know that these prunes are usually really soft & moist, which is as they should be. However, due to the high moisture content, this means that they can start to spoil quite quickly, especially when the ambient temperature increases – the unseasonably warm weather that we have experienced this summer has unfortunately caused some of the stock to spoil well before it would normally do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may already be aware of this problem, & may have let us know that you had stock that was going mouldy, & we sincerely apologise for this.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should you have any of the affected batches, dispose of the items and we will be able to process a refund for you. You do not need to return the goods. Please contact us to arrange a refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
