The latest line of products to enter our ever-expanding warehouse here at EthicalSuperstore is the great new Spring \u201809 range from the outdoor clothing and technical apparel manufacturer, Patagonia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re excited to bring you this new product range, including hiking boots, men\u2019s and women\u2019s walking and outdoor equipment, and some fashion pieces.<\/p>\n

Patagonia started life as a one-man mission to make and sell affordable and reliable climbing gear to like-minded people. Now, after over 30 years in business the folk at Patagonia still hold the same values dear; simplicity, utility, respect for nature, and a minimalist approach to life and work.<\/p>\n

The range is not only functional and stylish though, it also boasts top-notch environmental credentials; Patagonia use recycled<\/a> polyester in many of its clothes and only use organic<\/a> cotton. You\u2019ll find more information on individual garments\u2019 materials and make-up on their product page.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a business, Patagonia is well aware that by its very nature it creates regrettable pollution – from lighting stores to dyeing clothes, but they are taking responsible measures to steadily reduce those harms.\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Part of its environmental effort includes a grants programme whereby at least 1% of Patagonia\u2019s sales are donated to grassroots environmental groups around the world. To date this programme has given out more than $32 million to more than 1,000 organisations.<\/p>\n

In between designing and creating some of the most advanced outdoor clothing available and being active stewards of the environment, Patagonia have also found the time to launch a long-term initiative called Freedom To Roam<\/a>. This campaign is dedicated to establishing migration wildways for animals between protected areas.<\/p>\n

So, we think it’s safe to say that Patagonia not only make good looking, pro-performing gear, but are a great example of how man and nature can work side-by-side, co-existing and co-depending on the other for a mutually beneficial existance.<\/p>\n
