As well as offering 20% off almost everything in store, with orders over \u00a330 we also donated a much needed item to the local food bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As one of Britain&#8217;s busiest food banks, Newcastle West End Foodbank fed an average of 2,000 people a month in the local community last year. From December to early March demand for food parcels <em>more than doubles<\/em> to around 4,100 people a month &#8211; as families struggle to cope with the financial pressures of the festive season. With the use of food banks still increasing according to The Trussell Trust, and this close to Christmas, it&#8217;s more important than ever to give what you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With your help we&#8217;ve been able to donate a total of <strong>6,400 items<\/strong> worth over <strong>\u00a310,000<\/strong> this year, an increase on the 4,289 that were donated last year.
