Trade Justice

Millions of people are stuck in the trade trap, and no matter how hard they work, they earn less every year.  Here in the UK we are accustomed to a minimum wage, but statistics tell us that around half of the world’s population lives on less than US$2 a day.

In fighting for Trade Justice, campaigners believe not in free trade, but in fairer trading deals which will protect those who are not in a position to protect themselves.  The Trade Justice movement also promotes better trading practices which will help to protect the environment.
