Golden Palm Handicrafts is an organisation based in Shri Lanka which was set up with the aim of creating employment in rural areas. It assists local craftspeople to sell their fair trade products at a fair trade price on the international market. Any profits that Golden Palm makes is reinvested with the producers in the form of machinery, tools and other facilities that help to create better working conditions and more job opportunities.
