Q: Hi, may I use the Freeloader Pico Solar Charger to charge an i pod, or would I need to get a Freeloader super or solar charger?
Thanks,
Jane.
A: Hi, yes it's possible to charge an ipod, provided you have the original USB charge cable for the ipod. The USB end can be plugged into the Pico. The Silver Freeloader will also charge ipods. Robyn.

Q: is able to keep a sat nav charged or do i need some thing bigger?
A: Hi, the Pico is suitable for charging sat nav's. A mini-usb tip is included with the Freeloader Pico, and this is suitable for use with most sat-navs, but it's worth checking this before you buy. I hope this helps. Robyn.

Q: Hi, would this item power a portable DVD player which only has a DC input, not a USB input? It's designed to be used in the car but was hoping to find a battery pack that would enable it to be used away from a power supply!
Thanks, Beth
A: Hi there, unfortunately, the Pico is not powerful enough to support a portable DVD player - it's suited to charging less powerful devices such as mobile phones. You might want to take a look at the Freeloader Pro, a few notches above in the Solar Charger spectrum, but capable to charge a wider range of devices, including some portable DVD players. I hope this helps. Robyn.
