Q: What is the maximum distance for use of the remote control to switch on the light?
Also, is the sensor located on or near the solar panel (ie. my house is on the shady side of the shed - so where i would want to use the remote from, but the sun is on the opposite side - so would this device work for me)?

A: Hi, the sensor is located on the light, not on the solar panel, so it should be easy to use the remote to control the light. We don't currently have a range for the remote control, but provided as the remote control is pointed directly to the sensor, there should be no problems. I hope this helps. Robyn.
