Useful device for measuring water usage in shower. It is easy to calibrate in a few minutes and comes with a sticky fitting for wall mounting as well as a cord (as shown). I quickly got into the habitat of watching the meter go up, and i now use less than 30 liters per shower. The display is a simple black display and the meter bleeps when it reaches the recommended maximum of 35 liters. I found the wall fitting didn't stay up for long and its a little over priced for what it is, but worth buying to reduce water usage.

Great idea - a really helpful reminder for those of us that tend to daydream in the shower. But I found the 1-litre bag that comes with it tricky to use for calibration. It was far less awkward to use a solid measuring jug.

Q: How exactly does this thing measure the water consumption ?

A: The Showerdrop Shower Meter requires some simple set-up before first use. Basically you time how long the shower takes to dispense one litre of water (a purpose designed bag is included to facilitate this) and enter the value into the Showerdrop. Once this has been done, when you begin to shower you start the Showerdrop and it will calculate based on time elapsed how much water has been consumed.
