Q: Can you plug in speakers or only headphones?
A: Only headphones are supplied with the product - but if you had suitable speakers (which could connect via the headphone socket) they could be utilised. John.

Q: What country(s) was this made and assembled in?
A: According to the manufacturer this product was made in China. The manufacturer's facility has been subject to an ethical audit prior to the product being considered for inclusion in our range.

Q: Does the handle break easily or not?
Can the handle be taken off (I can't imagine keeping the handle on if it's in my pocket)?
Are there any new models currently out?
How long does one full turn whilst it plays on a medium volume setting last for?
Is the case just made out of plastic?

A: Providing it's not misused the handle should provide faithful service, it can't be removed but it does fold and stow into a position which will not snag or catch when pocketed.
This model is the latest currently available.
One minute of winding gives between 15-20 minutes music playback. (if fully charged - mains adaptor is included - it will give approx 4 hours music playback)
The case is plastic with rubberised corners.

Q: please can you tell me, does this wind-up MP3 player, need headphones or does it have a built-in speaker?
A: Headphones are included with the Verio MP3 Player.

A: The Verio comes with the standard larger size Nokia charger, but it is possible to obtain a wider range of adaptor tips direct from the manufacturer. Jo.

Q: How long must one wind it for to fully charge it? And how long must one wind it to recharge a phone, and for what period of time?
A: Winding for 1 minute provides music for about 15-20 minutes
Winding for 3 minutes to charge mobile phone can provide 10 minutes talking time for average mobile phone.
Winding for 1 minute provides LED light for about 50 minutes
When fully charged - provides music for about 4 hours.

Q: Can this MP3 player be used to play Audible downloads (a talking book website)?
A: It really depends on the file format - if the audio book is in any of the following formats it should be ok - MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WMV, ASF, OGG
