Q: I asked a question yesterday regarding your wind up radio which also charged mobile phones. I have noticed the 'rhino' wind up radio. As this radio will be used basically on a building site this maybe better, but do you have one that will charge a phone also. Or how 'tough' is the other radio?
A: The rhino is very tough and ideal for a construction environment but unfortunately it doesn't have the facility to charge a phone. The Eton FR350 radio is reasonably hardy, splash resistant and can charge a phone too - but it's not quite so tough as the rhino. John.

Q: What is the sound quality like on this radio? Is it commparable to the freeplay radios, for example?
A: The sound is very decent for the price, and it is comparable to say the freeplay ranger and eyemax radios.

Q: How long will the radio work for before it needs winding up again? I saw one in a high street shop which needed winding up every 10 mins! Hoping this one is better!
A: 60 seconds of winding will give up to 1 hour’s playtime.
Fully charged the radio will play for up top 20 hours!

Q: is this radio waterproof?
A: No, I'm afraid it isn't. In fact none of the radio's we stock could be classified as waterproof - some, like the Eton FR350 are splash proof, but none are completely waterproof. John
