Now its been nice sunny weather I have only charged my mobile phone twice in a month, the rest of the time I just use this, of course I am lucky in that I can leave it on a window ledge all day in the sunshine, very impressed.

A powerful torch, with a good battery. What's more it can charge your mobile! I leave it on the car dashboard, and plug the phone in on my way home. Its sturdy, and holds its charge well.

Q: can it survive being left outside in the rain and does it charge sony erricsons and ipods?
A: The Powerplus Solar Powerbank Flashlight does indeed charge Sony Erricsons (both new and old models), but it functions with a mini USB charger rather than the larger USB required to power an iPod.
Unfortuntely it is not waterproof, but if a waterproof charger and flashlight was what you were looking for check out the Powerplus Shark, the world's first of its kind. Jo.

Q: Can you attach it to handlebars and use as a bike light?
A: I'm sorry to say that there isn't a cycle mounting kit available for the eagle. However you may want to check out the Swallow cycle light set.

Q: How long would it need to be in the sun, to be ready to give a phone a charge?
Would using it as a flashlight drain the battery quickly?
WOULD this item power a S1 skype mobile phone, and a D900i mobile phone
thanks
A: You receive 7 adapters including small pin Nokia, Sony Ericsson (2x, new and old model), Samsung, Siemens, Motorola and mini USB. Time to fully charge via the sun would take 15-20 hours which give approx 70 minutes talktime. Using the flashlight would drain the battery; shine time once fully charged is up to 35 hours.
I hope this helps
Marty
