Natural Deodorant Stone - 165g

Prefer natural crystal deodorant. Have bought this one before and will again. Not sure about the small bag it comes in maybe being nylon/plastic but that's the only small criticism.

I tried this quite a few times but it didn't seem to work for me.

Love this stone. Have used before and find it works well. Again, great to have minimal, reusable packaging, and is a fantastic gift.

Doesn't work. After not doing much work I began to notice a perspiration smell from the armpits.

Great products and delivery on time

I'm finding that this works fine and took a tip from one of the previous reviewers to wet my skin, not the stone, to avoid having it slip and break.

I have recently switched from using the Faith In nature salt deodorant, I definitely prefer this one, it rolls on easier, is very smooth and it also comes without all the extra plastic which is a huge bonus.

I've used salt based deodorant for years now and it really does work. It has no scent but prevents smell even when you have a hot day in a rigorous job. I switched to this one because my old one came in a plastic container, this one is plastic packaging free and I like the bag it comes with so that you can hang it somewhere convenient for when you step out the shower.

I am still not entirely convinced how effective this is! I have been using it regularly since just after we went into lockdown in March 2021. As others have suggested I rub it on wet skin after showering as wetting the block was too messy and slippery. My husband asked me recently if I was still using it - not because he thought I was smelly but because he noticed the size didn't seem to have changed! At this rate, given my age I think it might outlive me! Someone on another review mentioned it having rough and smooth sides - I had never noticed this. Small amount of plastic wrapping and unclear if the little bag is recyclable fabric. No-one has complained I have BO since I have been using it and I find it hard to assess!

I've been using this for a few years now - the amount I've saved on deodorant and whatnot must be up to an impressive level. I found it works best when I wet the rough side of the stone and fit the smooth side into my palm with a relaxed but firm grip - then massage each armpit with the rough side for 30 seconds. Used everyday it keeps me stink-free even in the summer (and I am a very active chap). rnrnWorking out how to hold it when wet was difficult at first as it slipped out of my hand a lot and after a few whacks on the bathroom sink and floor the stone shatters. I managed to keep my last one whole for a few years though, but dropped it and broke it in half today. rnrnThe plastic wrap is a bit annoying and unnecessary, but compared to all the packaging that would have been generated if I had been using normal deodorant all this time means it's still a win on the whole.

I have tried so many other Natural deodorants but all have eventually left my skin irritated and sore. I thought this was worth a go and I am so impressed. It really works. I have had no bad odours and I usually have to use a strong antiperspirant. I wouldn’t now use anything else.

Ordered this because I wanted to cut down on packaging, but it came wrapped in a plastic film. Also doesn't smell very nice

It works really well. Good shape and easy to handle. Small bag is good for hanging on the shower tidy. No idea how it works but it does. A smaller size would be useful for travelling.

I have tried so many different deodorants (sticks and roll-ons) and struggle to find something effective that doesn't irritate my skin. I wasn't sure how well this would work (as I usually need a strong deodorant), but for the price I thought it was worth a try. And it works really well for me! Certainly as well as everything else I've tried, and I don't use anything else now. The fact that it's natural and will last for ages is even better. I took the advice of another reviewer, and use it on wet skin after a bath or shower. It is so much easier to handle this way, if you wet the stone and try to rub on it is very difficult to use, without dropping. Overall, very happy with this.

Best stone deodorant shape! Previous one I had for few years.

This works reasonably well for me - not quite as effective as conventional stick deodorants, but I wanted something without plastic. However, I dropped it onto the sink - most of it shattered on the bathroom floor, but I continued to use the half that was still intact. Dropped that as well, and am now buying a replacement which I will handle more carefully...

I haven't used it yet but it came wrapped in plastic and I was under the impression that it was plastic free

Really pleased with this product. It is easy to use and very effective. Best eco-friendly deodorant I have found.

Nice idea but it doesn't work... And I gave it 3 weeks to start. Unfortunately, I now have a random stone in my bathroom and have had to buy alternative natural deodorants that cone in plastic containers.

Nice and easy to use. Run tap over it then rub under arms.

Really effective, economical product, works on my sensitive skin (I can't use bicarb based deodorants). Just wish it didn't come in plastic, and the synthetic bag is not necessary either.

Bought this product for my wife and she is very happy with it.

Completely fragrance free and absolutely no irritation or residue after your skin has dried. I couldn't tell if it was any different to not wearing deodorant at all as I did find that by the end of the day I did smell a bit. Would probably be OK if you hardly sweat but I wouldn't buy it again.

I really liked this product, except it was wrapped in plastic and it came with an unnecessary cloth pocket. I might look for alternatives that use other more sustainable packaging material.

Very impressed with this stone. Has kept me dry and odour free even afer a work out.

I've used this in place of my usual deodorant and it seems to work just as well.

I can't believe how effective this product is! Since starting an early menopause, I have had a constant battle with body odour, starting to smell even 15 minutes after washing & using a standard deodorant. I've tried all sorts of soaps, washes and deodorants to deal with the problem, but nothing worked. Now, I can spend a whole day doing sweaty jobs and my armpits still smell as fresh as when I came out of the shower! I've been using this stone for 6 weeks now, and it isn't noticeably any smaller - usually by now, I would have spent nearly the same amount on ineffective roll-on deodorants, so as a bonus, I am going to save a lot of money too!rnrnThe only comment I would make is that I have found it works better to rub the stone onto damp skin instead of wetting the actual stone. Wetting the stone means it takes ages for the skin to dry. Instead, I don't dry my underarms after a shower, I just rub the stone on instead, and it dries really quickly then and is every bit as effective. It's also easier to do, as the stone can be very slippery when it's wet!

I'm not one for gushing about products or leaving reviews but this deodorant stone is fantastic. I was dubious after trying out a solid deodorant that worked well for my husband but not me. This worked immediately and after some pretty warm weather for the UK + intense gardening for four hours there's no smell. My other concern was having quite sensitive under arms and no problem if this kind either. rnrnLooks like it'll last ages and no end plastic containers to throw out or chemicals associated with mainstream brands. Delighted!

I found this Deodorant Stone to work really well. I use this after a shower beifly wetting it prior to use. It has no odour and is not visible or noticable after application. I usually would smell after a days office work/walking around quite a lot (i hope I am not alone in this) after having used this I don't, no fuss, no gimicks, just works well (for me). It will last ages at its current rate so gives massive value for money.
The only negative is that it comes in what appears to be a petro-chemical (plastic) fine net bag which is not biodegradable or recyclable. However the product would be far more environmentally friendly than a can of aerosol and lets any aftershave/perfume take center stage.
I decided to write a ridiculously long review as no-one else has yet and I was impressed! All the best,
